The 411: More than 100 wildlife enthusiasts attended the second annual conservation dinner, where the discussion revolved around the future of land, water and wildlife conservation in Texas. Panel speakers included Carter Smith, executive director of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department; Ralph Duggins, vice chairman of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission; and Kelly Thompson, chairman of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation. Stewards of the Wild connects young professionals who are driven by a common vision to raise awareness of the conservation issues facing their generation.
