Dallas Cowboys QB Dak Prescott proposes to girlfriend with $1M ring

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott took another step towards domestic bliss, this time with a marriage proposal: On October 17, Prescott got on bended knee to tender a proposal to his girlfriend Sarah Jane Ramos.

A series of photos on Instagram show the couple on a golf course, with him on one knee and her looking flabbergasted. The next photo shows them kissing; guess she said yes.

The post is captioned:

"Mine Forever!!!! The Best Friend, Partner, Teammate, Mother, and Now Fiancé I could Ask or Pray for! Thank you God for this Blessing and Family! I Love you @sarahjane 4EVER!"

Another photo from the Instagram post shows their 7-month old daughter MJ Rose, wearing a T-shirt that says "Hi Mommy. Daddy has a question for you!" with a ring emoji.

The engagement comes on the heels of the recent demolition of Prescott's 9,000 square-foot mansion in Prosper, which he mowed down "to nothing more than a pile of rubble" on October 8 in order to build a newer home better suited to his current needs.

Prescott is definitely in nesting mode: Got the new house, now got the bride.

Other photos on the Instagram post include a shot from their celebration, and sushi was on the menu. One shows Ramos with a tray of sushi on her lap, putting her left hand to her face coquettishly, flashing a sparkling engagement ring.

The ring is valued at $1 million and was crafted by Jason of Beverly Hills, who wasted little time sharing the specs, describing it as "a 10-carat emerald cut diamond, set between tapered baguettes on an 18k yellow gold band."

The final photo from the Instagram post shows the happy couple and child standing in front of a pile of rubble — churned-up dirt and chunks of concrete — that was once their Prosper home.

Prescott took advantage of a "bye week" for The Dallas Cowboys to pop the question; the team's next game is against the San Francisco 49ers on October 27.

The post does not share a wedding date.

What: 2026 St. Valentine’s Day Luncheon & Fashion Show

Where: Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center

The 411: On Wednesday, February 4, 850 guests descended on the Meyerson for the 42nd annual luncheon benefiting Blood Cancer United (formerly The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society). Themed "The Heart of the Fight," this year's event was co-chaired by Megan and Keith Conlon, with honorary chairs Ellen and Clayton Kershaw.

Guests were dressed in their Valentine's-inspired reds, pinks, and florals, and did more than just wear their hearts on their sleeve. They opened their hearts (and pocketbooks) wide to raise more than $1 million to fight blood cancers.

The event started with a champagne reception and silent auction for sports memorabilia, jewelry, trips, and more. The program was emceed by Clarice Tinsley of Fox4 in the concert hall and included remarks by Blood Cancer United chief medical officer Dr. Gwen Nichols, who underscored the life-saving mission of the organization.

The inaugural Linda Somerville Memorial Hero award - named for co-chair Megan Conlon's mother, who died of a blood cancer - was given to Gene Palma and accepted by his wife Susan and sons Alex and Charlie.

The event's fashion show, produced by the Robyn Chauvin, showcased spring looks from Highland Park Village retailers and included committee members’ children modeling Valentine’s-inspired looks from LoveShackFancy.

A luncheon of chicken on field greens and red velvet cake or lavender panna cotta followed in the lobby, and a coffee bar was offered as the day concluded.
