Where to Shop Now
Where to shop in Dallas right now: 8 must hit stores for September
We're back from summer with pop-ups on our mind including one in from California and another coming from Miami in late September. That's not the only shopping news in Dallas: A major Italian name has debuted a new Dallas location at NorthPark Center. There's also a new Dallas-based online-only site dedicated to children's clothes and a one stop shop for all of your Ryder Cup needs.
How's that for a well-rounded September shopping list? Enjoy!
Anyon Atelier
San Francisco-based home boutique has opened what is only its second location right here in Dallas, in a storefront off Henderson Avenue across from Fireside Pies at 5238 Milam St. The boutique features minimalist furniture, lighting, accessories, and artwork, and comes with an outdoor courtyard that makes for a great place to visualize how the pieces would perfect various spaces in your home.
Bea Collete
Call this a mother on a mission — a fashionable one at that. Dallas-based founder Meghan Guffey launched this online-only site offering a collection of posh children's clothing from European brands, featuring names from Denmark, France, Switzerland, and Italy. There are faded florals from Birinit and Petit Lucette, and darling cotton rompers from Artesanía Granlei, with some exclusives found only on the site.
Béis
Trendy California-based luggage brand founded by actress Shay Mitchell has previously been available online only or at select Nordstrom locations. But through September 28, the brand is selling its pastel, hard-shell suitcases on wheels and slouchy carry-ons in person at a month-long pop-up called "Beis Hotel" in the West Village, at 3699 McKinney Ave. #103B (the former LF Stores space next to Kendra Scott), open 11 am-7 pm daily.
Gucci
The latest iteration of Gucci at NorthPark Center has debuted on level one, between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, replacing the previous storefront, which closed the day before the new store opened on August 25. Under construction for more than a year, the new store spans more than 12,000 feet, and features clothes, shoes, handbags, luggage, jewelry, watches, and a kids collection. It's the largest of six locations in Texas (including Fort Worth which opened
in 2022) and one of Gucci’s 10 largest in the U.S.
Mango
Fashion brand from Barcelona began its U.S. expansion in 2022 with the opening of flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York, and has since opened stores in New York, New Jersey, Florida - and now Galleria Dallas, where it opened a boutique on level one. It's a go-to spot for stylish but affordable pieces for men, women, and children, from work professional clothes that won't break the bank to a glorious going out get up.
PGA Shop Frisco
Did you know that the PGA Shop in Frisco's PGA District is one of the only places in the country to score 2023 Ryder Cup Gear? We learn something new every day. Stack up on hats, polos by Polo, Peter Millar, and Foot Joy, cups, and other swag and look fashionable on and off the golf course while cheering on and supporting the USA as they head to Rome to compete in this year's Ryder Cup.
Thrift Studio
After years of popping up at warehouses or temporary spaces, this fund-raising pop-up shop now has its own space in the Design District at 1833 E. Levee St., where it will continue its mission to fund the Dwell with Dignity charity by selling donated furniture, housewares, accessories, and high-end designer finds. The space will be used for various events — but for now, it's time to shop, with a pop-up that runs through October 7, Tuesdays-Saturdays from 10 am-5 pm.
Webster x Rosewood Pop-Up at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
Miami-based luxury retailer The Webster has 10 locations across the U.S. including Houston — but no storefront in Dallas. In late September, they'll make that right when they host this pop-up in Dallas from September 27–30 at one of Dallas' top hotels. The pop-up will preside from one of the Mansion's Estate Suites with a tailored selection of womenswear, menswear, accessories, beauty, and home goods.
