Malcolm Mayhew
Malcolm Mayhew is a Fort Worth native who’s been writing about his hometown since, at age 19, he started working at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. His 14-year career at the paper took him across town, the state, and the country, as he wrote about music, pop culture, and people — both the famous and unsung, from Billy Joel to a young high school couple in love in a small Texas town. His work has appeared in the Boston Globe, Chicago Tribune, Baltimore Sun, Orlando Sentinel, American Way, Texas Music, and MTV.com. Currently he works at Bass Performance Hall as public relations manager, and he freelances restaurant reviews and stories for Eater.com and the Star-Telegram, in addition to CultureMap.
