Dallas-based fashion app spreads the love with new Uptown mural

Dallas’ own RewardStyle has commissioned a mural by local artist Alli K Designs to give Dallasites the perfect backdrop for their weekend Instagram. The mural aims to promote RewardStyle’s new LiketoKnow.it app that allows fashion lovers to shop their social media screen shots.

Completed March 31, the east-facing wall of the Standard Pour on McKinney Avenue in Uptown has been transformed into a bright mural with colorful hearts. RewardStyle calls it the #StartedWithAScreenshot He(art) Wall, and it will be up until late summer.

“We chose Alli K Design based on her incredible talent for interpreting a vision and creating work that is inspiring, eye-catching, beautiful, and fitting for the Dallas community,” says Amber Venz Box, RewardStyle's president and co-founder. “We are so excited that she was able to create the LiketoKnow.it He(art) mural for us.”

And what else would you expect from a pop-up mural painted on the side of one of Uptown’s most beloved bars than a tasty cocktail themed to go with it. The LiketoKnow.it Screenshot, made with gin, cherry liqueur, lemon juice, and strawberry garnish will be available through April at the Standard Pour.

LiketoKnow.it will display the mural with the help of North Texas bloggers on April 4, with a full day of shopable images on LiketoKnow.it's Instagram.

Using the LiketoKnow.it app, shoppers screenshot posts from their favorite bloggers and celebrities and instantly purchase a look. This is the second mural in a series of custom artworks across many cities. The first pop-up mural was on Austin’s Rainey Street.
