Irving's Music Factory blows a kiss to music fans with latest concerts
Just one week after announcing its initial slate of entertainers, the Pavilion at the Music Factory in Irving has released details of four more big-name concerts.
Headlining the list is the classic rock band Kiss, which will play at the venue on Wednesday, September 27. The date marks the band's first appearance in the area since they co-headlined a concert with Def Leppard at what is now known as Starplex Pavilion in July 2014.
Lifehouse and Switchfoot, two bands that appeal to if not actually reside in the Christian music genre, will co-headline a concert for Labor Day on September 4. That extends the venue's already-packed opening weekend, which includes appearances by Dave Chappelle, Brad Paisley, and Jeff Foxworthy and Larry the Cable Guy.
An actual Christian rock band, Needtobreathe, will perform at the Pavilion on Sunday, September 17, in support of their 2016 album, Hard Love, along with special guest Gavin Degraw. The final concert on the list is Steve Winwood, who will play on Tuesday, September 19, his first appearance locally since 2014.
Tickets for Kiss, Lifehouse/Switchfoot, and Steve Winwood will go sale through Ticketmaster on Friday, April 7, while you can get tickets to the Needtobreathe concert on Friday, April 21.
