Because retailers are clearing the racks of spring and summer merchandise to get ready for fall inventory (and we can't even bear to think about cashmere), now is the time to stock up on as many summer staples as your closet can hold. Because, as every Dallasite knows, fall doesn't really begin until Thanksgiving, so there's plenty of time to wear what you buy right now. These are 10 must-hit sales in Dallas this month.

Aftershock London
Save up to 50 percent on Aftershock's euro-chic spring and summer merchandise until the first week in August. Shop in store or online, through Aftershock's new U.S. e-commerce site

Elements
Shop this luxe sale of six full racks of contemporary resort, spring and summer apparel, marked down 40 to 60 percent. On the Elle side, there are currently three racks with items 50 to 60 percent off. When you shop on Manic Mondays (every Monday), you can save an extra 20 percent off the lowest marked price.

Forty Five Ten
Score something special — at an especially great price — at Brian Bolke's well-edited boutique filled with luxury clothing, accessories and decor. Spring and summer merch is 75 percent off. You might find a few sale pieces (like Balenciaga handbags) online, but the store has way more on the rack. The sale ends in late July.

Hoffman Family Gift Store
The annual sale at the Hoffman Family Gift Store at the Dallas Arboretum includes 50 percent off stationery, toys, candles, art, books, posters, decor and more with new items added daily. The sale runs from July 19 to August 2.

L. Bartlett
The West Village boutique has markdowns — 30 to 75 percent off — on select shoes and apparel through August. If you're a trend-seeker, you won't want to miss the sale on contemporary lines such as Sam Edelman, Wildfox and Parker.

Piermarini Boutique
On Tuesday, July 9, everything in store is 50 percent off, including jewelry, leather goods, and men's and women's apparel from the likes of Timo Weiland and LNA. "It's like the black Friday of summer," says boutique owner John Piermarini of the one-day sale. Stop by from 5 to 7 pm for cocktails and super savings on stylish summer threads.

Q Custom Clothier
Q is urging shoppers to give back during its summer clothing drive. Throughout July, all Q locales are accepting gently used men's business attire — shirts, suits, slacks and jackets — to benefit Family Gateway. As a reward, donors receive a 15 percent discount on any custom-made garment purchase.

Stanley Korshak
Our favorite boutique department store has an incredible store-wide sale, with savings up to 60 percent off. Fashionistas should hurry to the Shak, women's, men's and home departments for first dibs on Korshak's luxury goods.
