"Of Me"
Luxe boutique med-spa books first Dallas location in beautiful Turtle Creek
A new medical aesthetics studio is here to make the Turtle Creek and Highland Park neighborhoods even prettier, if that's possible. Atlanta-based OVME med spa has picked buzzy Turtle Creek Village for its first location in Dallas.
OVME officially opens August 28 at 3888 Oak Lawn Ave., Ste. 108. The brand's first minimally invasive cosmetic services boutique in Dallas joins other locations in Atlanta and Nashville.
OVME (pronounced “of me,” which sounds like a Handmaid's Tale character everyone would root for) promises innovative takes on the traditional cosmetic dermatology environment. Services include neurotoxins (Botox, Dysport), dermal fillers (Juvederm, Restylane, Sculptra), Vivace Microneedling, BBL, CoolSculpting, Halo, Motus A/X laser hair removal, hormone replacement therapy, PRP for hair loss, and more.
They also offer the popular HydraFacial Elite, which provides customized “hydradermabrasion” treatments tailored to each client.
“The medical aesthetics marketplace is highly fragmented, lacking in innovation, and generally ripe for disruption,” says founder Dr. S. Mark McKenna in a release. “Exciting opportunities exist at the nexus of elective healthcare, consumer focused technology, and retail; this is exactly where OVME lives.”
The 1,800-square-foot, high-tech studio houses six state-of-the-art treatment rooms and a private area for personal consultations. The waiting room features a "living wall," as well as a sleek retail area with a well-edited selection of the brand's own medical-grade skincare products.
Services are provided by appointment or walk-in, the website says. Memberships are available and will provide "year-long product and service discounts, complimentary weekly B-12 shots, guaranteed same-day Botox appointments, and VIP access to OVME events," the website says.
McKenna founded OVME in 2017 in Atlanta to provide high-quality, minimally invasive cosmetic services to aspiring women and men in select markets, the company says. A location is also opening in Charlotte, North Carolina this fall.
The philanthropic-minded company also is an official partner of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, donating a portion of proceeds to grant wishes for children with life-threatening conditions.
Appointments at the Dallas location are being booked now. A grand opening will take place 6-8 pm August 28 and will feature complimentary sips, bites, 20 percent off services, and more. To attend, please RSVP to Maegan@volkpr.com.
