Those with a passion for fashion headed to Galleria Dallas for the 2014 Belk Fall Fashion Tour to get an exclusive look at upcoming trends. Hosted by Arlene Goldstein, VP of trend merchandising and fashion direction for Belk, the show revealed fall’s most wanted looks for men and women.
The forecast included three style statements: Complex Simplicity, featuring oversized and boxy silhouettes with exaggerated sleeves; His and Hers, proving that borrowing from the boys has never looked better; and Rebel Rebel, which pairs leather and lace, winter florals and British plaids, and feminine silhouettes with moto detailing. Each look was pulled together with pieces from Trina Turk, Ralph Lauren, Vince Camuto, Dolce Vita, Sam Edelman, Pink Tartan and French Connection.
Other fall trends for women include longer skirts, fashionable sweatshirts, tunic tops and soft pants. Men can expect velvet sportcoats, chambray shirts and tailored vests.
After feasting their eyes on what’s in store for fall, guests — including Cynthia Smoot, Lisa Petty, Ellen Flowers, Yvonne Crum, Linda Cooper, Alex Small and Stuart Boslow — went home with swag bags filled with goodies from Estee Lauder, Jules B., Michael Kors and Philosophy.
