Times Two Design Studio
Bold homegrown decor brand takes next steps with new Dallas showroom
Dallas has a big appetite for bling, even in décor: After two year of operating Times Two Design out of her home, local designer Lauren Renfrow will open a studio at 6445 Cedar Springs Rd., Ste. 108, for her unique mineral-and-acrylic lamps and home accessories.
“Since the launch in 2012, I have expanded the collection from decorative accessories to a full line of lighting, furniture, art and tabletop, all showcasing the most beautiful natural materials, which I take to the next level with hand embellishments,” she says.
Renfrow’s showroom is open exclusively to the trade, and retailers and designers can shop the Times Two Design assortment by appointment or during regular hours — Tuesday and Thursday, 10 am-2 pm — starting February 3. The new space also gives Renfrow more room to design and manufacture products.
Visitors can expect to find the lamps, boxes, trays, paintings, and mineral-and-glass mountings for which the brand is known, plus some one-of-a-kind creations that will not be available online. Pieces can also be customized to someone’s exact specifications.
The designer says this year’s trends include “bright colors and bold statement pieces,” and that’s precisely what you’ll find in her studio. And Renfrow is confident her pieces work within a variety of interior design styles.
“I really believe that the Times Two Design aesthetic appeals to a wide range of designers,” she says. “Our distinctive home products are the perfect complement to the modern style but also serve as excellent transitional pieces.”
