City Tavern, known for its chill personality, lived-in-vibe, live music, and lineup of great beers, is now open at 1514 Elm St.
2. American Airlines adds new airplane with WiFi and XL overhead bins. American Airlines' newest plane made its maiden run and is now ready to join the family. It's the airline's first Airbus A321neo, and according to a release, it touched down at Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) shortly before noon February 1, following an 8 1/2-hour nonstop flight from Hamburg, Germany.
3. New downtown Dallas restaurant hits up the breakfast-all-day crowd. With breakfast looming as one of the hottest trends in dining, make room for Real Nice Place, a new breakfast-and-lunch restaurant in downtown Dallas, located at 400 N. St. Paul St., aka the Hartford building.
4. Virgin steers talk of high-speed trains between Dallas and Houston. Another possible alternative to planes, Amtrak trains, and automobiles has chugged into the picture across Texas. Virgin Trains USA, a transportation startup that plans to trade its shares on the Nasdaq stock exchange, is exploring two high-speed routes in Texas — one between Dallas and Houston, and the other tying together Austin, Houston, and San Antonio.
