Owners Sara and Michael Moldovan flew in from Los Angeles to welcome Dallas style setters to the “spring reigniting” of their Traffic LA Women’s outpost at The Joule hotel downtown. The contemporary boutique had closed temporarily due to smoke damage from an electrical fire, and we’re happy to report the fashion inside is as smoldering as ever.
The event allowed guests — including Muffin Lemak, Shelle Sills, Joyce Goss, Kenny Goss, Matthew Simon, Genniva Bruce, Peter Doroshenko, Capera Ryan, and Joanne and Charles Teichman — to shop the all-new spring collection from lines such as Iro, Isabel Marant, Ann Demeulemeester, Rick Owens, Kenzo, Valas and Dsquared.
In addition to fabulous fashion, attendees enjoyed smoke-inspired sips and bites — think smoked jalapeño and coconut margaritas and brisket burnt ends with chilled soba noodle salad — while a DJ spun the background tunes.
And what would a party be without a philanthropic bent? A percentage of sales from the evening benefited Dallas Contemporary.
