High-Fashion Bash
Vogue helps welcome Giuseppe Zanotti to Dallas' Highland Park Village
Giuseppe Zanotti received a high-fashion welcome to Highland Park Village when Vogue stepped in to host its recent grand opening soiree. Judging by the well-heeled attendees, it’s no wonder the brand decided to open a standalone shop in Dallas.
Fashionable VIPs — including Lynn McBee, Capera Ryan, Anna-Sophia van Zweden, Elisa Summers, Heather Washburne, Simona Beal, Yvette Ostolaza, Piper Wyatt, Claire Emanuelson, Myrna and Bob Schlegel, Kimberly Schlegel Whitman, Sheryl Maas, Joyce Goss and Jan Strimple — made their way around the venue, glasses of bubbly in hand, and perused the designer shoes, handbags and jewelry.
Because shopping can work up an appetite, Lombardi Family Concepts provided ahi tuna tostadas, little fried polenta cakes, French macarons and more. No surprise that DJ Lucy Wrubel was selected to spin the evening’s soundtrack.
Before guests headed out, they said hello to special guest Alain Baume, president of the U.S. division of Giuseppe Zanotti. The brand is continuously expanding worldwide, with more than 100 flagship stores.
Founded in 1994 by Italian designer Giuseppe Zanotti, the Italian company builds on its founder’s idea that the shoe is an artisanal piece created in an atelier rather than mainstream in a factory.
