Southlake shopping center ups its fashion cred with chic new boutiques
Southlake Town Square is adding some buzzy new fashion brands for both women and men to its lineup of shops. Warby Parker, UNTUCKit, and 7 For All Mankind are among the boutiques that are finding homes in the upscale retail center, with openings expected in late summer.
Eyewear pioneer Warby Parker, which began online as a direct-to-consumer brand, is scaling up its brick-and-mortar efforts, including a Southlake store. "From trying on the latest styles in eyeglasses and sunglasses to receiving a comprehensive eye exam or a prescription check, guests can supplement their online experience with in-person expertise and service," the shopping center says in a release. The shop will be located on Grand Avenue. It's their fifth DFW location.
UNTUCKit offers classic button-down shirts that look great untucked (called “Perfection” by GQ magazine), and performance wear and jackets that feature a comfortable, polished look for men, women, and boys. The brand began online and is now opening its first boutique in Southlake. There are also locations in Dallas and at The Shops at Clearfork in Fort Worth. Shoppers will find the brand at 1414 Main St.
Also opening soon is 7 For All Mankind, the Los Angeles-based premium denim brand that earned an immediate following for its innovative use of fabrics, fit, and finishes in its denim products for women, men, and children. There's just one other DFW location, in Dallas' NorthPark Center. 7 For All Mankind will be located at 1410 Main St.
In addition, TravisMathew, the premier men’s lifestyle apparel brand, will open its second DFW-area location at 1402 Main St., bringing its West Coast aesthetic to Southlake.
Also coming to Southlake is gift store Sugarboo & Co.(tagline: "dealer in whimsy"), which was started by Georgia artist Rebecca Puig and her family to offer items that support artisans. Sugarboo & Co. will be located at 1418 Main St. 7 For All Mankind, TravisMathew, and Sugarboo & Co. are all expected to open before the back-to-school shopping season.
In home goods news, online mattress and bedding purveyor Casper will also find a new home in Southlake Town Square, at 1435 Main Street.
These new shops join other recent openings, including LUSH Fresh Handmade Cosmetics, women’s retailer Coldwater Creek, and burger and shake sensation Shake Shack.
“Our goal is to offer our guests experiences they can’t find elsewhere,” says Jason Kasal, vice president and senior leasing director, in a release. “The evolving retailer mix we have in Southlake Town Square gives our shoppers first-hand access to these digitally native brands in an authentic and personable way.”
