At the behest of CJ Vinson and Lauren Bucherie with Austin-based music management company The Sessions, VIPs and indie music fans recently gathered at Hotel ZaZa for an intimate performance by up-and-coming Austin-based musician Emily Wolfe.
Wolfe, who is also a SXSW “fresh face” — featured artist in the new Kia Soul commercial, which launched on the Sundance Channel during SXSW 2013 — impressed guests with folky pop songs from her latest album, Mechanical Hands.
Joining Zaza president Benji Homsey were Kristie Ramirez and Tom Hoitsma, Missy Rogers, Alex Young, Doug Magditch, Carolyn Glen, and Lillian and Justin Webb, who chilled poolside with cocktails, bubbly and small bites while enjoying the show.
