The only thing better than a DIFFA party is a haute holiday DIFFA party. Am I right?
It could have been the slight evening chill. Or perhaps it was the reveal of this year's first holiday decorations. Whatever the case may be, there was magic in the air as the Dallas International Art, Antique and Jewelry Show hosted the 18th annual Holiday Wreath Collection at Dallas Market Hall.
Guests were greeted with champagne and immediately whisked away to the back of the venue to mingle with fellow supporters who were eyeing the wreaths produced and donated by more than 30 businesses, designers and individuals. We hate to name names — but, okay, if you insist. Our favorites included those by Lisa Garza of Sissy's, Gallerie Noir, Stanley Korshak and Timothy Oulton.
DIFFA/Dallas chairman of the board Brittanie Buchanan Oleniczak and wreath chair John Bobbitt chatted with guests — including Scott Diament, Clarice Tinsley, Steve Kimble, Matt Wilkerson, Darin Kunz, LeeAnn Locken, John Terlingo, Uno Immanivong, Greg Haynes Johnson, Angela Choquette, Jim DiMarino, Kristen Holderbaum, Ricky Grunden, Angela Auld, Carol Quist and Patrick Ware — as they enjoyed cocktails and hors d’oeuvre and bid on the wreaths and auction packages.
Wreath attendees also received an exclusive first look at the show’s impressive array of fine art, antiques and jewelry.
DIFFA plays a major part in HIV/AIDS funding, awareness and prevention education in the North Texas area, having granted more than $5.5 million since 1988.
