Newly engaged and on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress? Dallas-area brides have a new option to consider with the March 21 opening of Magnolia Laine in downtown McKinney.
This is the bridal boutique's first location in Texas, following shops in Atlanta, Tampa, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Detroit, with another slated to open soon in Nashville. The Dallas franchise is owned by McKinney resident Kelsey Murray.
“Today’s bride is looking for a personalized experience when shopping for what is arguably the most important dress of their lives,” says Murray. “I feel honored to be able to provide this special moment to Texas brides and play a part in helping them to find the gown of their dreams.”
In addition to a range of designer gowns, including from the renowned Pronovias brand, the boutique will introduce new designers like Kelly Faetanini to the Texas market. Accessories from Untamed Petals and the Dallas-based Linny Co will also be available in-store.

Sample dresses range in size from 10-24, with cost spanning $1,200-$5,000, according to the website.
Magnolia Laine was founded in 2021 by Kerrie Hileman and Mallory Thorburn, who are also the owners and founders of sister store The White Magnolia Bridal Collection, which they opened in 2010.
“We are confident that Dallas-Fort Worth brides will fall in love with the Magnolia Laine experience,” say Hileman and Thorburn in a release. “We are delighted to partner with Kelsey, whose passion and expertise will help brides discover the perfect dress and make their journey as special as the day itself.”
Magnolia Laine Dallas will be located at 206 E. Louisiana St. and is accepting appointment for late March and beyond. All bridal fittings are private and by appointment only.
