Arts District social sets stage for Dallas YPs who love theater and music
What: TodayTix Center Social kickoff party
Where: AT&T Performing Arts Center
The 411: Dallas young professionals gathered recently at the AT&T Performing Arts Center to kick off TodayTix Center Social, the ATTPAC’s newest membership level, which combines special events, discounts, and exclusive insider access to the arts.
Guests took a tour of the Winspear Opera House before heading to nearby Lark on the Park, one of the center’s restaurant partners, for cocktails and hors d'oeuvres.
For an annual donation of $99 — or 12 monthly payments of $10 — members of TodayTix Center Social gain access to exclusive discounts on ATTPAC programming, mobile rush tickets, cast meet-and-greets, networking nights and happy hours, volunteer opportunities, and popular industry events such as Brunch on Broadway and Broadway Karaoke Night.
The membership fees go toward supporting ATTPAC's Bus Fund, which ensures that students throughout North Texas have access to the arts and arts education at little or no cost to their school.
"This program will make seeing shows more convenient, more affordable, and more fun for the young professionals of North Texas," says Debbie Storey, interim president and CEO of AT&T Performing Arts Center, in a release. "We're excited about our partnership with TodayTix."
Known for its easy-to-use app, TodayTix compiles plays, musicals, concerts, operas, and other performances in one place, then offers exclusive discounts and day-of rush tickets. For more information about TodayTix Center Social, visit attpac.org/centersocial.
