Coeds across the Lone Star State are signing up for sugar daddy arrangements in a growth spurt significant enough to place three Texas universities in the top 12 nationally when it comes to the number of students seeking a partnership to help pay for college.

And, oh goodie, these schools have risen remarkably in the ranks. has released its figures from 2015 revealing a growing number of college students utilizing the so-called sugar daddy online mixer as an alternative method of financial aid. Basically, it is paid companionship. A big daddy or a momma cougar helps with college expenses in exchange for quality time in this "mutually beneficial relationship."

The University of Texas has the dubious honor of ranking No. 3 on the list of top sugar baby schools with 163 new sign-ups in 2015. Texas State University in San Marcos now holds the sixth position with 138 sign-ups in 2015. The University of Houston has charged ahead to No. 12 with 104 new members in 2015. 

Rounding out the top 10 are New York University, Arizona State, Temple, Kent State, Georgia State, Florida International, Penn State, and Virginia Commonwealth.
