Highland Park seeks IDs on crew that burglarized homes in dead of night
Investigators with Highland Park Department of Public Safety (HPDPS) are seeking the public's assistance in identifying a crew of burglars who stole from homes in the Park Cities in the middle of the night.
According to a release, the burglaries date back to November 2018. HPDPS investigators have determined that the crew were involved in at least five residential burglaries in Highland Park.
These burglaries occurred during the middle of the night. In each case, the home was occupied during the offense.
Further, investigators have not found any evidence of forced entry. That seems like an important clue.
Highland Park was not their only turf. The same suspects sought in connection with the Highland Park burglaries have been determined to be responsible for eight additional offenses in University Park.
In total, this crew has been identified in 13 residential burglaries, all committed in the same manner.
Multiple suspects are involved, but law enforcement has released some images in an effort to identify, locate, and arrest all suspects connected with these break-ins.
Anyone with information about these burglaries can call Crime Stoppers at 1-877-373- 8477. Callers can submit tips anonymously. Tips leading to an arrest and indictment may be eligible for a cash reward.
