It can be relationships, work, money — even the ridiculous traffic during your morning commute. There's always something that weighs hard on us but, compared to the rest of the U.S., it's pretty much smooth sailing in Plano, according to a new study.

Personal finance website WalletHub compared 182 U.S. cities to determine which are home to the most and least stressed-out people in the country. Plano lands near the bottom of the list at No. 177, making it the least stressed city in Texas and sixth-least troubled nationally.

WalletHub measured each city in four major areas: work, financial, family, and health and safety-related stress.

Plano lands close to the bottom in each category, which is good news, ranking 128th in work stress, 158th in family stress, 176th in health and safety-related stress, and 178th in financial stress.

This shouldn't be too big of a surprise, as Plano ranked the least-stressed city in Texas at No. 171 in last year's study (making it even less stressed now) and was named happiest city in America earlier this year in another WalletHub study.

Several other DFW cities rack up spots on the list, including Garland (No. 103), Arlington (No. 106), Grand Prairie (No. 122), and Irving (No. 149).

Meanwhile, the degree of stress varies among Texas' major cities. Houston leads the pack as the most-stressed city in Texas and No. 32 nationally, followed by Dallas (No. 46), San Antonio (No. 77), Fort Worth (No. 100), and Austin (No. 110).

The most-stressed city in the U.S.? Detroit is the unfortunate winner. And just five slots down the list from Plano is Fremont, California, the country's least-stressed city.
