Great news! Former SPCA Pet of the Week Cabbage Rose was adopted. However, Exotic still needs a home.

This week meet Penny the tabby cat, who was transferred to the SPCA on May 19 from another shelter.

Breed: Domestic shorthair

Age: 2 years old

Weight: 8 pounds

Personality: Penny is a playful, sweet girl just looking for a new best friend. She would prefer to be the only feline in the home because she enjoys having all of the love to herself.

Vital Stats: She has been spayed and microchipped, and she has received all age-appropriate vaccinations.

Come meet Penny today (#131885) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
