Unfettered Presidential candidate Donald Trump is coming to Dallas on September 14 where he'll appear at a rally at American Airlines Center.

Trump announced the rally on Twitter: "Will be great to be back in Texas," he tweeted. Two hours later, he noted that his announcement had drawn a "terrific response," and by the next day, he was urging followers to "get your tickets FAST!"

Tickets for the event are free and are available on They're general admission. In two hours of checking on a Saturday afternoon, only two had been "sold," despite a bet by Dallas County Republican Party Chairman Wade Emmert that the rally will be "full."

Trump's surprise appearance follows one in July by Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders, who held a town hall meeting at the Sheraton that drew more than 8,000.

Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said that he won't be in Dallas because he's filming his TV show Shark Tank, "but I have no doubt he will kill it in Texas." Speaking of candidates, Cuban is one of the names being considered to replace Trump on Celebrity Apprentice; Trump was fired due to recent derogatory statements he made regarding immigrants.

The anti-Trump crowd will hold its own rally a week before Trump is in town. The Latino Votes Project has organized a rally on Labor Day at Dallas City Hall plaza. The event, which takes place at 1 pm, has a Facebook page and is called Un Día Sin Trump, "a day without Trump."

"We want to send a message to Donald Trump, a very clear message that we are preparing our community to participate, to vote, to become engaged, to respond in a peaceful manner against his hateful comments," says spokesman Carlos Quintanilla.
