Pet of the Week
Carl ain't nothin' but a hound dog in search of a forever family
Great news, animal lovers: Ebony has been adopted. However, former featured pets Mia and Macaroni are still waiting for their forever homes.
This week meet Carl, who came to the SPCA of Texas on July 23 when he was rescued from cruelty. He has gotten lots of TLC from the amazing SPCA staff and is now ready to find a new family.
Here’s the lowdown:
Breed: Hound mix
Age: 2 years
Weight: 44 pounds
Personality: Carl may have had a rough past, but you’d never know it. He is a happy, friendly, playful boy who loves to explore. He can see the two of you going on many adventures together. Oh, he’s also a hugger. He will wrap his little paws right around you and give you a big hug.
Vital stats: Carl has been neutered and microchipped, and he has been given all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Carl today (#134331) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
