Pet of the Week
SPCA's Harper the hound mix put the past behind her to find new love
Hello, animal lovers. From last week, Dylan is still waiting for his forever home. From before that, Carl found his forever family, but Mia can still be yours.
This week meet Harper, who came to the SPCA of Texas on July 23 when she was rescued from inhumane conditions. After a couple of months of tender loving care, she is now ready to find a new family. Let’s meet this girl:
Breed: Hound mix
Age: 2 years
Weight: 40 pounds
Personality: Because of her past, Harper is still finding her confidence. She would probably do best in a calm house with someone who has the patience to show her how nice humans can be. She loves the canine friends she has made at the SPCA, so if you have a doggie at home for her to be buddies with, she would be so happy.
Vital stats: Harper has been spayed and microchipped, and she has been given all age-appropriate vaccinations
Come meet Harper today (#134303) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
