Huge Music and Comedy Festival
KAABOO Festival at AT&T Stadium rocks out with a killer lineup
KAABOO, a music and comedy festival that will come to AT&T Stadium for the first time May 10-12, has unveiled its full lineup, one that is huge in both the number and stature of its performers.
Headliners include The Killers, Kid Rock, Sting, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Little Big Town. Other performers, somehow not labeled as headliners, include The Avett Brothers, Ms. Lauryn Hill, Pitbull, Counting Crows, Alanis Morissette, The Black Eyed Peas, Ludacris, Flo Rida, Garbage, Andy Grammer, Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Violent Femmes, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and more.
The festival's comedy portion, taking place on the appropriately-named Humor Me stage, will include Dennis Miller, Brad Garrett, Demetri Martin, Garfunkel and Oates, Whitney Cummings, Nate Bargatze, Jim Breuer, Rory Scovel, and more.
The multi-faceted festival will also have contemporary art exhibits, culinary and craft beverage offerings, and other indulgences. Guests will also have the ability to purchase a cabana or day pass to Bask Day + Night Club, the on-site Las Vegas-style pool club, where they can enjoy DJ performances from Cash Cash, Chromeo, Le Youth, Paul Oakenfold, and more.
“We are excited to continue to grow the KAABOO brand alongside the Jones Family in one of the most incredible venues in the world,” said Jason Felts, Chief Brand and Marketing Officer for KAABOO in a statement. “We want to bring what we do best in the festival world and put a Texas-sized spin on it. You won’t find yourself sitting in seats for too long here, because you won’t want to miss a minute of the six-stage action.”
KAABOO, coming to Texas after several years as a stand-alone event in Del Mar, California, partnered with the Jones Family and Dallas Cowboys for the event, the first time such a festival has ever collaborated with an NFL ownership group.
“We are thrilled to be involved in this revolutionary entertainment event,” said Charlotte Jones Anderson, Executive Vice President and Chief Brand Officer of the Dallas Cowboys Football Club, in a statement. “The KAABOO brand shares the same energy and innovation that we strive for with AT&T Stadium, and we couldn’t be more excited to combine the magic of sports and music right here in Texas.”
KAABOO Texas will host a free lineup release party 5-8 pm January 16 at Halcyon Coffee Bar in Dallas. Music will be provided by Rhett Miller of the Old 97’s, and artist Amandalynn will be live-painting a wall mural.
All KAABOO passes are now on sale at kaabootexas.com. Limited quantities of general admission Lone Star passes start at $299, with VIP Blue Star and Rockstar passes currently available at $999 and $4,199, respectively. There is also the Ultimate Hang pass, which offers guests an entirely immersive experience.
A portion of proceeds from KAABOO Texas passes will be donated to charities, including global partner The Recording Academy’s MusiCares program, as well as three local charities: North Texas Food Bank, Texas Wildlife and Park Foundation, and Texas Music Foundation.
