SXSW Music has jumped into the fray of festival season by announcing the first wave of artists and programming for the 2016 Austin event.

Lone Star artists also abound. Representing the local scene are The Nightowls, Band of Heathens, A Giant Dog, Jon Dee Graham, William Harries Graham & the Painted Redstarts, Skyline, and Paul Oscher.
On the programming side, a bevy of industry bigwigs and innovative artists will be hosting panels, including Talib Kweli and representatives from UPROXX, Atlantic Records, Spotify, Sound Exchange, Radio Disney, Freeform, and Warner Music Group.
SXSW Music runs from Tuesday, March 15 through Sunday, March 20. This is the 30th anniversary of the homegrown event, so anticipate even bigger names and spectacles to be revealed as the festival approaches. For the full list of artists and panels, head over to the SXSW website.
