Austin-born jewelry brand adorns Dallas with first dazzling pop-up shop

There's a new Stella & Dot party in Dallas, and this time it's not in anyone's living room or Facebook feed. The Austin-born jewelry brand has opened its first-ever pop-up shop in Dallas, at 3010 N. Henderson Ave.
Known as a home-based business built around a social-shopping business platform, Stella & Dot was founded by CEO Jessica Herrin in Austin as a way for women to earn money with a flexible work schedule. It's become one of the most popular "side hustles" out there.
Now, 11 years later, the company is headquartered in San Francisco, and Dallas is home to the first brick-and-mortar experience for the brand.
"We wanted Stella & Dot's first pop-up in Texas, where it all began out of my living room," Herrin says in a release. "Dallas is the perfect choice. We’re excited to grow here, expand our stylist and customer community, and give back through fundraising events that directly support the local area."
Besides shopping, Dallas customers will have the chance to interact with local nonprofits and Dallas-area artisans.
"We want this space to be a place to connect, which is why we’re holding more than 50 events throughout the month," Herrin says. "Our brand is about more than the product; it's about service and an uplifting and fun experience for women, and we'll be enhancing that with local flavor through the artists, brands, and philanthropic partners taking part."
In the pretty space, shoppers will find Stella & Dot’s newest collections displayed, as well as a custom mural by local artist Alli Koch.
Events planned include bag monogramming with artist Viv Jordan, mini-manicures with Cherry, and a panel discussion with HER HQ. A summer-collection launch will take place April 4.
The pop-up shop will be open daily through April 20, 11 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday, 10 am to 7 pm Friday and Saturday, and 12-6 pm Sunday.
