Good Form
Dallas salon shows good form with second location boasting new spa
Nearly three years ago, Form Salon and Hair Education opened its first brick-and-mortar salon in Preston Center. The brainchild of industry vets Whitney Haynes, formerly of Osgood O'Neil and L.A.R.C. Salon, and LeighAnne Shelton, who trained at Loreal's Professional Institute, it was more than a success.
In addition to traditional salon services, the unique model offers how-to classes for clients looking to master everything from the perfect everyday ponytail to a tousled up-do. For Haynes and Shelton, it's the perfect juncture of their shared passion for hairdressing and education.
Now, Form is expanding its offerings with another North Dallas location, at 8201 Preston Rd., and this one is geared to helping clients kick back. On top of colors, cuts, and Brazilian blow-outs, Form Salon and Spa boasts a cadre of spa services.
"It's been a dream of ours to start a spa," says co-owner Whitney Haynes, an industry vet of nearly a decade. "We're excited to share all of our beauty secrets with our clients."
Treatments include eyebrow shaping, waxing, spray tanning, and perhaps the biggest draw, Comfort Zone facials. The sister line of Davines, a hair care brand carried by Form, Comfort Zone is a skincare line out of Parma, Italy. Form Salon and Spa is the only Dallas area spa to provide facials, ranging from $85-$150, using the products.
"We needed more space to offer a more relaxing experience for our guests, as well as additional services that we believe in," says Haynes. "Clients love that we're expanding and that they're able to go to a company they trust for all of their service needs."
