A new shop specializing in top-of-the-line lingerie and loungewear has opened in the Dallas Design District. Called Zsofia’s Fine Lingerie, it’s not just a place to pick up some undies, however. Owner Zsofia Mezey promises a “destination experience,” turning what most women consider an uncomfortable errand into a luxurious event.
It’s Mezey’s mission to make women of all sizes feel “pampered, beautiful and confident,” which is why the shop specializes in hard-to-find sizes.
“There are so many lingerie retailers that serve the more common bra sizes, A-C, so I really created Zsofia’s to cater to the larger breasted woman, not only providing pieces that fit perfectly but also look glamorous and sexy,” she said in a release.
Mezey, a Romanian-born fashion designer and stylist who studied at the Istituto Marangoni in Milan, Italy, uses her keen eye for construction and delicate materials to personally select each piece featured in the store. Brands such as Simone Perele, Mimi Holliday, Luca Lingerie, Fleur du Mal, Fleur of England, Lise Charmel, Cache Coeur, Cheek Frills, Addiction, Linda Hartman, Lou, Fantasie, Salua Loungewear and Heidi Klum Intimates stock the shelves.
One-on-one fitting consultations ensure that each woman finds exactly what she needs. And if you’re looking to make finding some fun lingerie more of a celebration, Zsofia’s also encourages bridal and bachelorette parties.
“We are passionate about providing women with an exact fit knowing that beauty starts from the inside out,” Mezey said. “We acknowledge the fact that there are limited boutiques available for women to lingerie shop in an intimate, private environment. We make it special, and we make it fun.”
