Runway Revue
5 reasons why Galleria Dallas' fall fashion party is a must-attend
On August 8, Galleria Dallas is throwing a fashion party dubbed Runway Revue for shoppers to enjoy during tax-free weekend. Attendees get the low-down on what to wear and how to wear it, just in time for back-to-school shopping.
“Runway Revue has become an important tradition at Galleria Dallas,” said general manager Angie Freed. “Shoppers from across the region have made this shopping experience their own back-to-school must do.”
“Galleria Dallas has turned tax-free weekend into a holiday of its own and is excited to welcome residents and visitors for such a fun and engaging event.”
Here are five more reasons no fashion-minded Dallasite should miss it:
It’s free
There is no cost to attend the Runway Revue, so consider it free fall fashion advice, dispensed in one of Dallas’ favorite shopping destinations.
It’s for the whole family
Hosted by Galleria Dallas fashion stylist Holly Quartaro, the presentation is broken up into three professional runway shows starting at noon, with fashions for kids. That is followed by women’s and menswear at 2 pm and teen trends at 4 pm.
It’s fabulous
The fun culminates at 6 pm with the avant-garde Toni&Guy Hairdressing Academy Student Show. Extravagant and chic, the beauty display is bound to be the highlight of your evening.
It’s easy to find the looks you want
If you like what they see among fall’s top trends, you know exactly where to find it: Looks are pulled from Galleria stores such as Aftershock London, Gap, Belk, BCBGeneration, Club Monaco and more.
It’s full-service fun
A day-long fashion and shopping extravaganza can work up an appetite, and you can refuel at any one of Galleria Dallas’ restaurants, including Mi Cocina, Oceanaire, Second Floor, Grill on the Alley and more.
