The timeliest shopping event returns to Dallas’ NorthPark Center
A well-made watch blends everyday practicality with the prestige and craftsmanship of fine jewelry, but how much do you actually know about that collection of gears and metal on your wrist? NorthPark Center’s third annual Watch Week is the perfect time to learn from some of the world’s best timepiece collectors and connoisseurs.
During the event, which runs November 16-20, the upscale shopping center’s luxury retailers host events, exhibits, and presentations about the engineering and design of the most renowned brands. All of that is free and open to the public.
Jewelry titans such as Cartier, Bulgari, Eiseman Jewels, Tiffany & Co., and David Yurman join big-name brands Rolex, Omega, Hublot, Officine Panerai, Montblanc, and Tag Heuer to showcase limited editions, rare favorites, and new collections. Neiman Marcus is joining in with the presentation of the Van Cleef & Arpels Poetic Complications Collection, featuring the stunning Midnight Planetarium timepiece.
And if you’ve never thought of watchmaking as an immersive experience, prepare to journey through 100 years of Tag Heuer’s history in its virtual reality experience chair. Montblanc is also paying homage to the past with its 4810 collection, a trio of timepieces designed to emulate the year 1906, when commercial innovation and steamship transportation became prominent.
Hublot, however, is looking to the future with rare timepieces just released at Baselworld 2016 and never before seen in Dallas. It all makes you wonder what treasures might turn up at next year’s Watch Week, but don't miss out on what's here and now November 16-20.
