It might seem too far away to consider, but there's nothing worse than an upset valentine and nowhere to go for dinner. With that in mind, we've put together a list of Valentine's Day dinners so you can get to planning.

This list will be updated through Valentine's Day so you have somewhere to go with the person whose private parts you like most. 

III Forks
The highlights: Three-course dinner available from February 8 to 15 includes III Forks salad or lobster bisque; filet mignon with lobster tail, whipped potatoes, sugar snap peas, off-the cob cream corn, vine-ripened tomatoes and spring onions; and chocolate lovers’ dessert.

The highlights: Three-course à la carte Valentine’s Day menu is available from 5:30 to 11 pm, with seatings every 30 minutes. The highlights: Three-course dinner from February 13 to 15. Appetizer options include mango salad with jicama or roasted red pepper soup with almonds and queso fresco. Entrees are sauteed shrimp with mango mole sauce, chicken breast with chipotle rancho sauce or roasted red pepper filet mignon with black peppercorn Dijon sauce. Desserts include fresh strawberries, whipped cream and vanilla ice cream on cinnamon chips or churros drizzled with chocolate raspberry sauce.

The highlights: A la carte Valentine's Day dinner February 14 and 15 features special dishes from chef Douglas Wagenhauser plus a Champagne cocktail kit. Dallas Arboretum
The highlights: The Arboretum announces “Romance at the Arboretum,” a candlelight dinner beginning at 6:30 pm with champagne, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, followed by a performance by SMU’s woodwind quintet. Dinner includes roasted pheasant with madeira sauce as well as bittersweet chocolate torte.
Cost per person: $250 for participant seating, $350 for patron level seating. A Valentine Angel table is available for $10,000 that offers seating at the DeGolyer Dining Room table, a private musician and service for up to 10 people.

Dee Lincoln’s Steak and Burger Bar
The highlights: Three-course dinner menu on Valentine's Day. Choices include beef tenderloin carpaccio with anchovy and caper vinaigrette and candied pancetta; baby kale salad with port wine dressing, blue cheese, candied pecans and freeze-dry cranberries; roasted rainbow trout with cherry tomato, saffron and Kalmata olives; wagyu sirloin with quinoa pilaf, baby turnips and peppercorn demi.

Ellerbe Fine Food
The highlights: Special four-course prix fixe menu February 14-15, from 5 to 10 pm, with optional wine pairings. Starters include escargot, leek and potato soup with watercress puree or blue cheese tart with mixed lettuce and crisped pancetta. Entrees include choice of boeuf à la Bourguignonne with potatoes and wilted greens, pork chop or trout with brown butter and almonds. For dessert: Floating islands with meringue, caramel and crème Anglaise, or chocolate pavé with Chantilly cream.

Five Sixty by Wolfgang Puck
The highlights: A six-course tasting menu available February 14 to 16 beginning at 5 pm. Courses include West Coast oyster on the half shell with sake foam, Beluga caviar; duo of tataki with seared hamachi and local wagyu beef; Korean chili-glazed lobster with house-made kimchee, sesame, and jasmine rice; char su pork belly with ginger parsnip puree, fennel and citrus; miso-glazed veal cheek with chili-kabocha puree.

The highlights: Four-course beer dinner featuring Lakewood Brewing Company begins at 7 pm. Pairings include duck breast with smoked IPA reduction and local vegetable succotash with Lakewood Hop Trapp, and chocolate sponge cake with vanilla raspberry compote and Bailey’s whipped cream with Lakewood Raspberry Temptress.

Garden Cafe
The highlights: Four-course menu on February 14. Doors open at 7 pm; dinner starts at 7:30. Green Grocer
The highlights: Two meals-for-two packages available for pickup between February 13 and 15. Options include wild Coho salmon with orange glaze, strawberry and feta salad, garlicky scalloped potatoes and red velvet whoopie pies, or the Paleo-friendly filet with mushroom demi-glace, roasted beet salad, sweet potato gnocchi and coconut macaroons. Both come with a choice of Santome sparkling rose or Graham Beck Shiraz.

The highlights: Two seatings on Valentine's Day with three-course dinner for reservations between 5-6:45 pm, and four-course dinner from 6:45-11 pm. Choices include chicken-masa soup, tomato-basil soup, Caesar salad, arugula salad, pork with hominy casserole, Kansas City strip, filet Oscar with lobster, and ahi with maitake mushrooms and udon. The highlights: Four-course prix fixe menu starting at 5 pm prepared by chefs Dennis Kelley and Melody Bishop. The highlights: Three-course dinner on Valentine’s Day. The highlights: Chef Antonio Marquez will offer a four-course menu on Valentine’s Day from 5 to 11 pm. Tostada with guacamole, smoked salmon and strawberry; taco with shrimp over a planchada quesadilla with grilled pineapple, xnipec cabbage and pico de gallo;  choice of chicken stuffed with goat cheese and spinach, beef medallions with mushrooms, grilled shrimp with squash blossom sauce, rice and cauliflower. Max's Wine Dive
The highlights: Five-course prix fixe Valentine's Dinner for two is served on February 14 from 4 pm to midnight. At the Dallas Max's, couples will enjoy chef Patrick Russell's Why The Hell Not?! Valentine’s Day menu which includes East coast oysters and risotto with lobster and Meyer lemon. At the Fort Worth Max's, chef Stefon Rishel's Valentine’s Dinner will be served February 14 through 16, with seafood manicotti and vegan spaghetti.

Meddlesome Moth
The highlights: Three-course menu with three seatings at 5:30, 7 and 9 pm. Appetizer choices include baby greens with sweet-hot pecans, port-poached pears and Pont-l'Évêque cheese or lobster bisque; shiitake-stuffed chicken breast or chicken-fried lobster tail or smoked prime rib; and dessert choices include white chocolate mousse or mocha torte. Peak & Elm
The highlights: Former Komali and Alma chef Anastacia Quinones returns to the kitchen at Peak & Elm on Friday February 14 to offer a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner featuring all locally sourced ingredients from the Dallas Farmers Market. Anastacia works as a culinary instructor at Molina High School. Live music and service will be provided by Molina High School students. The meal begins with a mixed green salad with crab cakes and grapefruit. Entrée will be choice of Modelo beer-braised short rib with hominy puree or Mexican garlic shrimp with spinach and rice. Dessert is a chocolate ganache covered brownie bites from Oh Brownie*. There will be three seating times at 5 pm, 7 pm and 9 pm.

The highlights: A three-course dinner called the Natural Aphrodisiac Menu is offered February 13 to 15.
