Peticolas Beer Dinner at Chicken Scratch and The Foundry
Dallasites have expressed via Twitter their love for Chicken Scratch's down-home food paired with Peticolas craft beer, so the restaurant is giving the people what they want. Beginning at 7 pm, guests are invited to grab a seat on the patio and enjoy pints of Peticolas' award-winning brews paired with Southern favorites such as quinoa salad, BBQ sandwiches, loaded baked potatoes, and mac and cheese. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online.
Freemark Abbey Wine Dinner at Abacus
Abacus hosts its latest wine dinner with special guest Ted Edwards from Napa Valley's Freemark Abbey winery. The dinner comprises four courses, including pan-seared skate; duck breast with fresh Bing cherries; hickory-roasted veal strip loin; and olive oil cake with goat cheese mousse, toasted almond crunch and orange marmalade. Deep Ellum Beer Dinner at Whiskey Cake
Whiskey Cake in Plano whips up a five-course dinner featuring dishes such as beer-battered squash blossom salad, Prime beef sliders and Belgium blueberry waffle sundae — all paired with craft beer favorites from DEBC. Jump Into Summer Wine Event at Bridge Bistro
Oak Cliff Cellars and chef Justin Box are collaborating for this special summer dinner. “Blind Me, Wine Me” Dinner at Grace
With help from advanced sommelier Ryan Tedder, guests blind taste four of the best red wines that Moët Hennessey represents. Chef Blaine Staniford provides the dishes, including smoked Washington State sturgeon, Texas sweet corn agnolotti, Berkshire pork jowl, Colorado lamb, and a selection of artisan chocolates and domestic cheeses. Slow Food Dallas Ice Cream Social at Garden Cafe
Join Slow Food Dallas for an ice cream social to support its new education partnership with Skyline High School's culinary department. The menu includes gelato sundaes, Lakewood Temptress beer floats, popsicles with Caledonia gin, plus limoncello and local beer on tap. It goes down from 7 to 10 pm, and tickets are $15. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Presents the Wine Opener at Trinity Groves
The Variant Commercial Real Estate Dallas Wine Opener is a fun evening for folks of all experience levels to sip great wines poured by international and domestic wineries. Guest can sample great cuisine from multiple tasting stations, as well as participate in silent and live auctions. Also expect live music and other entertainment. Best Little Brewfest in Texas in Old Town Lewisville
The Best Little Brewfest in Texas showcases craft beers from local, national and international breweries. Also expect food from local restaurants and food trucks, as well as music from a variety of local musicians. Proceeds benefit Cloud 9 Charities. Camp ZaZa Sunday School Brunch
The best adult brunch returns to ZaZa's Uptown ballroom. Write your last name in your shorts and leave your cares behind as ZaZa camp counselors orchestrate an afternoon of zany fun. The event features a full family-style brunch by Dragonfly chef Dan Landsberg, a bottle of bubbly per table and live entertainment.
