Farmers market fun and more top food events in Dallas this week

It's a well-rounded week, with a couple of farmers market events, beer and wine tastings, and a fine-dining experience at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.
Tuesday, July 21
A Taste of Paris at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek
Chef Bruno Davaillon welcomes executive chef Chistopher Hache and pastry chef Jérôme Chaucesse from fellow Rosewood property Hôtel de Crillon in Paris. Highlights from the six-course tasting menu include lobster with pickled peach, black garlic and brown butter; and black bass with chanterelle, Australian truffle and chive blossom. Cost is $115 per person; call 214-559-2100 for reservations. Dinner starts at 6 pm, and the event takes place daily through Friday, July 24.

Wine 101: Unlocking the Mystery of Wine at Messina Hof Winery
Happening the fourth Wednesday of each month, this tutorial helps unlock the mystery of wine. An in-house sommelier guides guests through the basics of wine knowledge: How is it aged? What are the different styles? What do all those interesting terms mean anyway? The event runs from 6-8 pm and costs $40. Reservations are suggested; call 817-442-8463.
Taste of Top 10 Summer Wines at Whole Foods Preston Forest
Join the Whole Foods wine team as they take you on a guided journey through a variety of bright and light summer wines. Whether you are looking for the perfect bottle to take to a picnic, pool party or quiet evening on the back porch, find options at this tasting. The event is free, but space is limited, so RSVP.

Evening in the Shed at Dallas Farmers Market
Every Thursday, you can shop artisan food vendors, order from food trucks, sample beer and wine, listen to great music, and do arts and crafts. Admission is free, and the event lasts from 4-9 pm.
Gulf Coast Seafood Festival at Sea Breeze Fish Market and Grill
From July 23-26, the chefs at Sea Breeze create a menu of dishes featuring some of the finest seafood on the Texas Gulf Coast. Dishes include Texas redfish, striped bass and Gulf shrimp. All selections are based upon availability, and they can be had for lunch or dinner.

Three-year Anniversary Party at FireWheel Brewing Company
Celebrate three years of Firewheel Brewing with 21 beers and three sodas on tap. In addition to the booze, guests can enjoy KB's Brats food truck, live music, giant Jenga, cornhole, an outdoor beer garden, dart boards, foosball and ice cream floats. The event lasts from noon-6 pm, and admission is free. Register here.
Summer Shenanigans Pop-up Dinner at 3015 Trinity Groves
The fun starts at 5:30 pm, with ceviche and local beer samplings and a meet-and-greet with chef Justin Box. Dinner begins at 6:30, and the menu includes summer favorites such as sweet corn bisque with lump crab, Windy Hill goat rillette, farm cheese gnocchi, smoke pork shank and plum crumble. This event is BYOB; however, summer sangria is available. Tickets are $75.
