Let's Do Brunch
5 restaurants that do weekend brunch right in Dallas' Knox District
Brunch may be Dallas' favorite weekend pastime, and there is no shortage of supply in Dallas' Knox District. So round up your pals and relive the previous night's good times at any of these five:
Villa-O
At this weekend hot spot, it's all about the beverage program: unlimited mimosas, Bellinis, Sfuzzis, bloody Marys and screwdrivers for just $10. You can even mix and match, so start with a mimosa and end with a Bellini. You will want to eat too, probably the chicken and waffles. Brunch is served here on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
La Duni
This McKinney Avenue mainstay is a favorite among Dallas brunchers. The espresso bar features more than 20 coffee drinks, and you can indulge in sweet and savory housemade pastries from expert Dunia Borga. La Duni serves brunch Saturday and Saturday, 9 am to 3 pm.
Taverna
For a cozy, Italian-inspired meal, Taverna hits the spot. The patio is pet-friendly, and the oven inside keeps diners warm on chillier days. Our brunch of choice: eggs Benedict with bacon instead of ham, and a mimosa on the side. Brunch is served on Saturday and Sunday and often includes a variety of off-menu specials.
Toulouse Cafe and Bar
Feast on French-influenced Belgian cuisine with a modern twist at Toulouse, located right off the Katy Trail. The patio is a prime spot for people-watching, so grab a seat there and order an espresso and beignets. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm.
Ziziki's
Located in Travis Walk, Ziziki's offers a more peaceful dining experience. If you can't decide between, say, a Greek omelet (feta, mozzarella, tomatoes, onions, and kalamata olives) or French toast with baklava crumble (!), there is a buffet option that includes a complimentary mimosa. Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday.
