New French pastry shop sweetens up West Village's 3700M complex
A new bakery and coffee bar called Bisous Bisous Patisserie will open at the 3700M building in Dallas' West Village in January 2015. Its specialty will be French-style pastries, including macarons, tarts, éclairs, croissants and cakes made from scratch daily.
The shop also will offer seasonal items on a limited-edition basis, such as peppermint, gingerbread and eggnog macarons; Bûche de Noël; dark chocolate peppermint tarts; and iced shortbread cookies, now available for the holiday season.
Chef-owner Andrea Meyer has been a staple at White Rock Local Market. She provides pastries to clients such as Nespresso Cafe at Northpark Center and Ascension in the Dallas Design District. Her pastries can also be ordered online and through home delivery service Artizone.
"I can't wait to be open in West Village with my own kitchen," Meyer said in a release. "It's been our goal since we established Bisous Bisous Patisserie in January 2013, and we're finally seeing it come to life."
After a stint in Paris, Meyer left her corporate job and enrolled at the Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. She worked with the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group in Yountville, California.
