Supermarket chain H-E-B to celebrate milestones on 2 Dallas-Fort Worth stores
H-E-B continues its expansion in Dallas-Fort Worth, with progress on two major projects.
The retailer will break ground on a store in Prosper, located at the southeast corner of Frontier Parkway and Dallas North Tollway. The ground-breaking will take place on Tuesday, April 2.
Prosper is one of three new stores slated to open on the east side of DFW in 2025, along with stores opening in Melissa and Rockwall.
They began construction on the Melissa location in January 2024.
One week later, H-E-B will officially open the doors of H-E-B Alliance located at 3451 Heritage Trace Pkwy. in Fort Worth on April 10. The store has been in the works since 2022.
H-E-B Alliance will also mark the fifth H-E-B location in the DFW region. The store, which is on the northern edge of Fort Worth, builds on the company’s longstanding presence in the area, joining two Central Market locations, which have been open in Tarrant County for more than two decades.
Fort Worth is surrounded by towns with H-E-B stores including Burleson, Granbury, Cleburne, Corsicana, Ennis, Hudson Oaks (the most recent opening), Stephenville, and Waxahachie.
H-E-B is officially in expansion mode across Dallas-Fort Worth, beginning in Frisco where the chain opened its first area location in September 2022, followed by Plano, which opened in November 2022, with two more stores, McKinney and Allen, opening in 2023.
