Sophisticated Momo's Coffeehouse perks up Frisco with fun fusion fare
A new coffeeshop is opening in Frisco with a distinct Mediterranean flair. Called Momo’s Coffeehouse, it's at 6828 Stonebrook Pkwy. #400, in a small shopping center off the Dallas North Tollway, where it opened quietly last week with coffee and snacks.
Momo's is from Mo Elghazali and Leila Mustafa, an enthusiastic couple with a love for coffee who wanted to fill a coffee shop gap in the neighborhood.
"It is an awesome thing for us to be part of the growth of Frisco, and to bring a coffee concept that is new and different," Mo says.
The shop offers coffee and espresso drinks, both classic and inventive, some featuring a fusion of cultures.
Signature beverages include
- Lovelei latte: Latte with house-made guava syrup and cinnamon
- Shakerato: Shaken iced beverage with espresso, milk, and brown sugar
- Nitro matcha: Matcha pulled nitro-style and flavored with raspberry
They also offer an extensive, sophisticated mocktail program, featuring non-alcoholic zero proof cocktails, modeled after regular cocktails, such as the Espresso Mo’tini, Passionfruit Spritz, Piña Colada, and Prickly Pear Margarita.

For food, they are partnering with acclaimed locals such as Bagelology for bagels and Fort Worth bakery Patissery for croissants and cookies. They're also serving hummus and cheese boards made in house.
Mo started out in fashion retail, before switching to the coffee industry; Leila is an attorney. Prior to opening, they traveled to Italy to train at Espresso Academy in Florence.
The space is very colorful and has a mural wall by artist Noor Ashour.
“A lot of the shops all have the same theme: white, black, gold. We wanted to stand out from that," Leila says. The shop also includes a standing bar, which is common in Italy, but not so much here. The shop also shares a patio with neighboring business including Jamba Juice next door.
They're open daily, at 7 am on weekdays and 8 am on weekends.
