Terpsichorean Club honors Dallas tradition with ritzy debutante affair
The Terpsichorean Club recently hosted its 116th annual ball at the Ritz-Carlton, Dallas, in honor of this year’s debutantes. Upon entrance to the white-tie affair, guests walked a red “carpet” — which turned out to be a long red dress worn by a model.
In keeping with the theme, “Rainbow Room at Rockefeller Center,” a replica of the New York skyline decorated the ballroom, where attendees indulged in an elaborate seated dinner. Following the meal, Dallas debs — including Caroline Belle Hardin, Deirdre Helena Huffines, Haley Angelica Huffines and Isabel Claire Miller — made their final bow of the season.
After the official business concluded, it was time for the real party to begin. Guests — including Austin Wyker, Porter Fuqua, Alexander Jodry, Jonathan Snow and Gideon Powell — closed out the evening enjoying the musical stylings of Paul Salos, Breggett Rideau and the Let’s Dance Band. Couples of all ages danced into the wee hours of the morning and slept soundly dreaming about next year’s ball.
