Edo Popken brings in glam goods to host Love Thy Man shopping event
Designer Edo Popken made his way to Dallas just to host the Love Thy Man event at his flagship store in the Design District. His mission: to make Valentine's Day gift shopping easier — and much more fun.
Guests — including Gary Walden, Sara Wilkins, David Call, Brad Jensen, Kristen Webber, Sabra Girard and George Jackson— perused Popken's selection of colorful clothing in addition to a curated collection from top vendors. For the men in the crowd, Sabino the Cigar Roller did what he does best. Billy Jealously also set up shop to offer custom beauty treatments. A variety of eyewear was also available, thanks to Dallas Eyewear.
Ladies were not forgotten, however. There were spray tans by the Tan Girl as well as women's wear by Front Door Fashion.
For those more traditionally inclined, Angie Strange from Posh Floral was present to take orders. She came prepared with a full array of holiday colors to create magnificent arrangements in myriad styles.
Edo Popken is a Swiss designer known for his limited-edition dress shirts, colorful fashion approach, love for detail, and eco-friendly and ethically correct craftsmanship. The Design District shop is his first U.S. store.
