Ronald McDonald House patrons gather for intimate affair in anticipation of Moonlight Ball
Generous supporters Beth and Fin Ewing hosted a lovely patron party in their home in preparation for the 2013 Moonlight Ball benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. At the gathering, event co-chair Melissa Utley thanked sponsors and honorary chairmen Lauri and Mike Hainsfurtherfor their devotion to the organization.
Lauri expressed her gratitude for the supporters in the crowd. She also shared a personal anecdote, that her children and the Utley children grew up cooking and serving meals to families at the Ronald McDonald House.
After heartfelt words from RMH Dallas CEO Jill Cumnock, guests such as Vera Bangs, Cecilie and Ronnie Holman, Nancy Kerr, Pam Ellerman, Pam and Matt Mattingly, Sandra Estess, and Amy and Scott Hatfield sipped on cocktails and savored roast beef sliders as they chatted about the upcoming fete at Brook Hollow Golf Club on April 6.
The Moonlight Ball helps the Ronald McDonald House provide a comfortable home environment, with meals, laundry and transportation, to families with ill children in nearby hospitals. Tickets to the ball can be purchased online for $500 each.
