Pet of the Week
Squishy the cuddly cat is ready for a new family of petters
From previous weeks, Athena, Little One and Claire are still waiting for their forever homes. In addition to these precious pets, we've got a new kid on the adoption block.
Meet Squishy, who was surrendered to the SPCA of Texas on January 7 because her family had allergies and could no longer keep her. Could she be the purr-fect match for your family? Let's find out:
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Age: 6 years
Weight: 11 pounds
Personality: Squishy is very sweet and affectionate to both human and kitty companions. She enjoys head massages and will reward your hard work by making biscuits. She also likes to play with her mouse toy, nap on the windowsill, and cuddle with any and all humans.
Come meet Squishy (#123615) today at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
