Crystal Charity Ball announces 2013 beneficiaries and 10 best dressed honorees
The social world was buzzing after news broke that Sarah Burton of Alexander McQueen will be the featured designer at the Crystal Charity Ball 10 Best Dressed Fashion Show and Luncheon this fall. But recently CCB announced the most important news of all: the 2013 beneficiaries and best dressed honorees.
This year Crystal Charity will distribute more than $4.7 million among eight deserving charities:
- Educational First Steps
- Good Street Learning Center
- Network of Community Ministries
- New Friends New Life
- Parkland Foundation
- Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas
- Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children
- YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas
Among the best dressed honorees are Tricia Besing, Nancy Carlson, Francie Moody-Dahlberg, Mary Clare Finney, DeeDee Lee, Patty Leyendecker, Lynn McBee, Pam Perella, Aileen Pratt and Christi Urschel. Hall of fame honoree Lisa Troutt has been a 10 best dressed honoree for three consecutive years and was chosen for her great style and dedication to helping the community.
The 2013 Crystal Charity Ball Fashion Show and Luncheon, chaired by Claire Emanuelson, will be held at Neiman Marcus Downtown on Thursday, September 12. The ball, chaired by Caren Kline, is set for Saturday, December 7, at the Hilton Anatole.
We're on pins and needles waiting for news about this year's theme. It will be hard to top last year's Le Grand Bal Parisien, but we know that Kline and the Crystal Charity committee are destined to impress.
