From Boardroom to Boutique
Dior, the latest couture score from Highland Park Village, has attracted as many philanthropists as fashionistas. Recently the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas’ Women of Tocqueville gathered at the haute spot to see the new store and the Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier exhibit.
These ladies stay busy mentoring youths, working with legislators to improve childcare standards, and traveling to Washington, D.C., to advocate on Capitol Hill. But they still find time to socialize.
Dressed in sleek blazers and sheaths, activists including United Way CEO Jennifer Sampson, Cecily Gooch, Angela Fontana, Yvette Ostolaza, Shay Geyer, Penny Reid, Katie Rose and Erin England noshed on fancy bites provided by Lisa Garza Taste studio as they admired the designer clothes and Demarchelier’s renowned works.
The Women of Tocqueville, a leading philanthropic force in North Texas, comprises business executives and community volunteers dedicated to charitable work.
