Dear Clark salon launches new hair care line with Texas pride
Dear Clark owners Holly Dear and Kaycee Clark opened their hipster chic salon for a Texas-themed fete celebrating two milestones. The salon itself got a sleek new blow-dry lounge, and the ladies have launched a new line of hair care products.
True to their Texas roots, all five essentials in the new Dear Clark line — resurrecting wash, resurrecting rinse, thickening balm, smoothing elixir and finishing salve — are made with natural Lone Star ingredients such as aloe vera, sunflower seed oil and Rose of Jericho.
As DJ Party Train mixed the beats, attendees — including Tracy and Van Hayes, Jon Tutulo, Paula Minnis, Jessica Riley, Sarah Mundell, Hunter Cordell, Parker Cornelius, and Bobby Condron — indulged in drinks from Deep Eddy Vodka and Deep Ellum Brewing Company and party-perfect bites from food trucks The Stand and Bomb Fried Pies.
Partygoers also shopped for handcrafted bags, bracelets and patterned napkins made by GAIA Empowered Women. Proceeds went directly to GAIA to help fund its mission to empower marginalized women through employment, encouragement and dedication to their long-term success.
