Mulberry Store for Dallas
British luxury brand gifts Dallas leather lovers with new NorthPark store
Mulberry tasked hostesses Brooke Hortenstine, Katherine Reeves and Capera Ryan with rounding up Dallas fashion enthusiasts to celebrate the brand’s second U.S. boutique, located at NorthPark Center. Guests helped themselves to champagne as they walked in the store, where Carl Barbato, president for Mulberry North America, was waiting to welcome them to the brand’s latest opulent outpost.
The 1,400-square-foot store is reminiscent of the English countryside, with natural materials such as oak shelves and limestore floors and other neutral touches. The shop offers the entire Mulberry collection, including the new season of women’s ready-to-wear. If anyone is taking notes, we’d love to find the Willow tote or Bee gloves under the tree on Christmas morning.
While DJ Lucy Wrubel played the hits, partygoers — including Brian Bolke, Faisal Halum, Nancy Dedman, Claire Emanuelson, Muffin Lemak, Nancy Nasher, Julie Hawes, Heather Wiese-Alexander, Kenny Goss, Joyce Goss, Lynn McBee, JB Hayes, Jim Williamson, Ken Maxwell and Jenny Kirtland — took a seat at the Mulberry Craft Bar, where they could make their very own Mulberry-branded bracelet. They also took pictures in the photo booth and walked away with “Mulberry Loves Dallas” canvas totes to commemorate the evening.
To honor its entry into the community, Mulberry pledged 10 percent of the evening’s sales to the North Texas Food Bank.
