Not even a week has passed since gymnastics queen Simone Biles Owens and NFL star Jonathan Owens announced their surprise Houston wedding, and fans are already speculating on the couple's next wedding — and even debating Biles' wedding hair on her big day.

More on the hair later, but first, the next wedding. The dynamic duo, whom Jonathan tagged as #TheOwens, tied the knot at the Harris County Courthouse with Judge Jay Karahan officiating. They shared wedding-day photos by Houston photographer Rachel Taylor on social media. "I do," Biles wrote on Instagram, adding, "officially owens." Her new husband commented, "Wifey got a great ring to it. ❤️💍 First day of forever."

On his own post, Jonathan simply wrote "My person, forever."

They then shared pics of a post-poolside toast on their IG stories, with Biles Owens' adorable caption, "cheers husband." In a move every husband can relate to, Owens captioned a photo of a metallic martini glass full of assorted fruits — and his gorgeous bride — with the caption, "My two favorite things 😂❤️."

So what's next? Speculation abounds as to the celebrity couple's next wedding and its locale. “We will be having a wedding in a couple of weeks,” Biles Owens told fans during an Instagram Stories Q&A session on April 23. “We had to get married ‘legally’ here in the US — since our wedding will be a destination wedding.”

Sports site Gymnastics Now (somewhat confidently) reports that the Owenses are "set to formally tie the knot in Baja California Sur on May 6." (CultureMap can't confirm these details.)

Wedding site The Knot notes that the second wedding color theme will be champagne, gold, and white, and that the couple plans to host some 140 guests at the mystery location. During the Q&A session, Biles Owens revealed that she and her new hubby are considering a minimoon in Bora Bora, most likely after the 2023-2024 NFL season.

Biles Owens also reminded fans how relatable she actually is, noting on her IG session that she and Owens "went so over budget," (been there) and that, "you only live once." While she boasts a total of four wedding dresses, she nabbed her white, tiered Selfie Leslie wedding dress online for a mere $120 the week of the Houston nuptials. Fans who're curious as to her white, strappy heeled sandals can find them online at Pretty Little Thing.

In an eye-roll reminder of celeb scrutiny, Biles Owens' hair was actually the subject of dubious shade. Some actually called her hair “a mess.” One comment, which sparked numerous retorts, complained about her hairline and that her “edges should have been laid.” (Umm, okay.)

Biles Owens — who has famously been through far, far worse worse than this kind of nonsense — actually fired back on Twitter, reminding haters that Houston is, well, balmy. "i think they also forget i live in HOUSTON TEXAS & I sweat those out!! soon as we stepped outside for pics but they can keep complaining idc idc idc."

We don't care either, Simone. Here's to your big wedding sequel, minimoon/honeymoon, and endless days of bliss with your forever person.

Dallas is rolling in millionaires and a new list offers the proof: A study of the Top 10 Wealthiest Cities in USA by residency and citizenship consultant Henley & Partners puts Dallas at No. 6 — home to 72,400 millionaires as of December 2024.

As if that's not enough, Dallas also has 135 centi-millionaires — meaning they're worth $100 million or more — and 16 billionaires.

According to the study, the number of millionaires in Dallas grew 85 percent from 2014 to 2024.

The study pointed out that Dallas “has seen very strong wealth growth over the past two decades, driven in part by the relocation of several major corporate headquarters to the city. Prominent companies based in the Dallas-Fort Worth area include AT&T, CBRE, Caterpillar, American Airlines, Charles Schwab, and Texas Instruments.”

Houston was the richest city in Texas, coming in at no. 5 and beating Dallas by one place. Austin just squeezed in at 10th place but is rushing to catch up: It had the greatest increase in number of richy-rich in the past decade.

Here’s the rundown for Houston and Austin:

    • Houston — 81,800 millionaires, 210 centi-millionaires, and 16 billionaires. Millionaire growth rate from 2014 to 2024: 75 percent.
    • Austin — 32,000 millionaires, 90 centi-millionaires, and 10 billionaires. Millionaire growth rate from 2014 to 2024: 90 percent.

In its comments about Houston, the study pointed out that “America’s energy capital, Houston, is a global leader in engineering and aeronautics. It is also home to 24 Fortune 500 companies — the third-highest number among U.S. cities, after New York and Chicago."

Regarding Austin, the study said: “With its booming tech sector, Austin has been dubbed ‘Silicon Hills.’ Several major tech companies have moved their headquarters to the city over the past decade, most notably Tesla. Texas’s low state taxes add to Austin’s appeal. While wealth growth in the city has slowed over the past couple of years, it remains very impressive when viewed over the past decade as a whole.”

New York City topped the overall list, boasting 384,500 millionaires, 818 centi-millionaires and 66 billionaires. But Texas is the only state with three millionaire hubs in the top 10.

On a separate Henley & Partners list, Houston took the No. 5 spot for the most centi-millionaires in the U.S. Dallas ranked seventh and Austin ranked 12th.
