Media and marketing mavens let loose at Gilley's for second annual Jingle Mingle
Twelve Dallas marketing and media organizations came together to host the second annual Jingle Mingle at Gilley's. The holiday party benefited The Dream Fund, an organization that supports people in the creative field who face serious trouble and adversity.
"This year over $100,000 was given out to colleagues in need — and this year the need has been great," said Patricia Nolan, president of the Dream Fund.
Attendees — including Hector Hernandez, Claire Parker, Angelina Musik, Scott Saldinger, Cody Sharp, Kelsey Plucker, Hayley Wood, Lindsay Jacaman, Laurie and Steve Elkins, Abby Alwan, and John McCartley — enjoyed corn hole games, billiards and music by the Walton Stout Band.
Guests dressed up to make a flip book, had caricatures drawn and posed with Santa. They also flocked to the step-and-repeat to have a picture taken with Miss Texas 2012, DaNae Couch.
In between noshing on savory snacks and tastes of Nothing Bundt Cakes, guests from the participating host organizations — AIGA DFW, Alliance for Women in Media DFW, American Advertising Federation Dallas, Dallas Society of Visual Communications, DFW American Marketing Association, DFW Interactive Marketing Association, DFW Search Engine Marketing Association, International Association of Business Communicators, Social Media Club of Dallas, Southwest Media Representatives, User Experience Dallas and Women In Wireless — mingled with friends in the industry.
