Brooke Shunatona graduated from the University of Missouri School ofJournalism with an emphasis in Magazine Editing. She then returned to herhometown in Dallas and now resides with two roommates who are over the age of 50and might be her parents.Brooke spent 2011 in Sydney, Australia studying abroad and interning for theYahoo!7 online news department, where she helped cover the royal wedding. In herspare time, Brooke reads fashion, style and beauty blogs and loves to trynew DIY projects. She enjoys long walks on the beach (seriously) and pridesherself on knowing every South and Central American country and its capital. Shehopes to do more international traveling in the near future but is happy to beinterning for CultureMap Dallas and spending time in the city she calls home.
